Billerica, Massachusetts – December 15, 2021 – Nuvera Fuel Cells, LLC, a provider of fuel cell power solutions for motive applications, announces that Gus Block, director of marketing and corporate development, is a 2021 Environment + Energy Leader 100 honoree.

Gus Block is a founding employee of Nuvera and serves as the company’s interface with state and federal agencies. He also oversees external and internal communications and public relations initiatives.

Gus’s career has focused on enabling the use of hydrogen as a clean energy carrier, beginning with a Fulbright fellowship in 1995 to build a wind-powered electrolyzer in Sri Lanka. At Nuvera, he has championed fuel cell commercialization and been directly engaged in the development of opportunities in materials handling and other early markets, working closely with the US Department of Energy and industry trade groups.
